Templates

Template is a pre-formatted email that administrator can use to replace the content as per the requirement so that can modify changes quickly and write templates easily, create and share emails.

Default Templates Setup

The Notification messages that are to be sent to the users at different times is defined on the cidaas Dashboard.

There are pre-defined placeholders that allows diverse client and product features to be dynamically integrated during the creation of the respective messages to be sent.

1. Click “Email Templates”, the default templates setup screen displays, as in the below screen

Verify Account Template

Once user registered with cidaas and verification email is sent to the appropriate user email to verify the account.

Welcome User Template

User Created Template

Once the user is created, an email notification is sent to the appropriate user email to inform that the user account created.

Invite User Template

When Administrator invite user to provide access an email is sent to the appropriate user email.

Reset Password Template

To reset password, an email notification is sent to the appropriate user email.

After Change Password Template

When user change the password, an email notification is sent to the appropriate user email.

New Device Template

When user login from different device, an email notification is sent to the appropriate user email.

New Location Template

When user login from different location, an email notification is sent to the appropriate user email.

New Network Template

When user login from different network, an email notification is sent to the appropriate user email.

Verify User Template

Once user registered with cidaas and verification, an email is sent to the appropriate user email to verify the user.

Note Depending on the notification type the template type gets displayed.

Template Types:

Email

Creating an email notification involves specifying when to send it, who receives it, and what it contains.

There are two way of processing Email:

1. Click “Link” button and select the appropriate locale

2. Click “Find Template” button, the below screen gets displayed,

3. When Administrator set the Email Link template, once user registered with cidaas, an email notification link as in the below screen

1. Click “Code” button and select the appropriate locale from the drop down.

2. Click “Find Template” button, the below screen gets displayed,

3. When Administrator set the Email Code template, once user registered with cidaas, an email notification code as in the below screen,

SMS (Short Message Service)

1. Select the template type SMS (Short Message Service): SMS Notifications are text based, and simple messages and links can be a great way to drive users to a website or a download link.

2. Select the appropriate locale from the drop down and click “Find Template” button,

3. Select the appropriate placeholders from the drop down and click “Save Template” button.

4. When Administrator set the SMS template, once user registered with cidaas, an SMS notification link as in the below

IVR (Interactive Voice Response)

1. Select the template type IVR (Interactive Voice Response): IVR uses prerecorded and dynamically generated audio to interact with customers.

2. Select the appropriate locale from the drop down and click “Find Template” button,

3. Select the appropriate placeholders from the drop down and click “Save Template” button.

4. When Administrator set the IVR template, once user registered with cidaas, a computerized call to verify the IVR.

Notification Type Verify User

PUSH

A push notification is a message that popup on a mobile device. App publishers can send them at any time; users don't have to be in the app or using their devices to receive them.

1. Select the template type push

2. When the notification type is “Verify User”, the PUSH template gets displayed as in the below screen,

3. Click “General” button against processing type, the below five “Verification Type” gets displayed:

The below three verification flow is used under the five-verification type as explined below:

1. Face: Push template use Face to recognize the authentication.

  1. Click “Face” button, from the drop down select the verification flow, the below screen gets displayed,
  2. Select the appropriate verification flow from the drop down and select the appropriate locale
  3. Click “Find Templates” button, the below screen gets displayed,
  4. Select the appropriate placeholders from the drop down and click “Save Template” button. A message window popup “Template Saved Successfully”

Passwordless Authentication

Passwordless authentication is a type of authentication where users make passwords simple by using the fingerprint, or a code that is delivered via email or text message.

Multifactor Authentication

Multifactor Authentication provides more than one method of authentication of credentials to verify the user identity.

2. Voice: Voice authentication relies on a person's unique voice patterns for identification to gain access. This type of authentication requires a device that can capture a person's voice very accurately and software that can recognize the patterns of the voice and compare it to already-recognized patterns.

  1. Click “Voice” button, from the drop down select the verification flow, the below screen gets displayed
  2. Select the appropriate verification flow from the drop down and select the appropriate locale
  3. Click “Find Templates” button, the below screen gets displayed,
  4. Select the appropriate placeholders from the drop down and click “Save Template” button. A message window popup “Template Saved Successfully”.

3. Pattern: Pattern authentication is when user preferred to draw a pattern password between the nodes to open the lock in lieu of entering an alphanumeric password.

  1. Click “Pattern” button, from the drop down select the verification flow, the below screen gets displayed,
  2. Select the appropriate verification flow from the drop down and select the appropriate locale
  3. Click “Find Templates” button, the below screen gets displayed,
  4. Select the appropriate placeholders from the drop down and click “Save Template”button. A message window popup “Template Saved Successfully”

5. Touch ID: Touch ID allows users to authenticate with their fingerprint (biometric authentication).

  1. Click “Touch ID” button, from the drop down select the verification flow, the below screen gets displayed,
  2. Select the appropriate verification flow from the drop down and select the appropriate locale
  3. Click“Find Templates” button, the below screen gets displayed,
  4. Select the appropriate placeholders from the drop down and click “Save Template” button. A message window popup “Template Saved Successfully”

The Administration of Custom Templates

Custom templates are web templates that you can display to your end user, for a specific event. This might be based on your specific business needs. For instance you may want to show a Custom Web page, to inform users about server maintenace, outage or any such events. You can use Custom template in such scenarios. Screen shot below shows how to add a new custom template by clicking button.
